Kody McDowall is the founder, owner, and CEO of McDowall Studios, Inc. He founded the company in 2018 with the help from his close cousin and best friend. He is also the facilities manager of McDowall Studios, the technical manager, and simply runs the company from day to day.

In the production world, Kody is the lead producer for McDowall Studios. He is also in charge of sets, scripting, and cameras. He is the lead cinematographer of McDowall Studios, and has over the years professionally trained many of his crew members in the talent. To close out, he is the LD (Lighting Director), main editor, and the audio director for all the projects that McDowall Studios does.

Kody is best known for two projects, the 2023 short horror film, Prongs, as well as Colorado 4-H film competition entry, Bikers | Official Trailer. 

Prongs was a sort of 5th Anniversary celebration for McDowall Studios. Kody both starred as a main character (before leaving the MSFAA [McDowall Studios Film Actors Association] to pursue more of the behind the camera jobs) in Prongs, as well as produced the film and acted as the main cinematographer. He also played the backup of the infamous Prongs monster.

In his Bikers trailer, Kody was in charge of production, doing everything from assistant stunt coordination to directing it all with help from assistant director, Autumn Taylor. This trailer was a huge success and brought the company a county fair championship as well as first place at state level.

Jonathan Bausch is the Co-Founder of McDowall Studios, as well as the BD manager for the company. In the actual beginnings of the company, Jonathan was not a part of it, until in January, 2019, he and Kody started J&K Productions, which is now a branch off of the McDowall Studios tree. This company was originally created so that Kody and Jonathan could put on a mountain bike race that was not branded under McDowall Studios directly. After that, Jonathan became a part of McDowall Studios, as well as the manager of J&K Productions, which is not exactly a formal company anymore, but still exists. Jonathan has been a part of many projects that McDowall Studios has done, working a lot in the parts of production that no one sees or knows about. 

As well as being a Co-Founder of McDowall Studios, Jonathan is the IT Director for the company, as well as the 1st assistant director, 2nd assistant producer, assistant stunt coordinator, camera operator, and MSFAA licensed actor.

Jonathan is best known for starring in Colorado 4-H film competition entry, Bikers | Official Trailer. This experimental trailer that unfortunately does not yet have a film associated with it yet took first place in both county and state fair.

Harper Easterling is another Co-Founder of McDowall Studios. She was with the company from the very beginning, directing most to all of the films produced in the early days of McDowall Studios, and well as being the lead MSFAA actor from 2018 to now.

Harper now works as the main MSFAA actor and coach, as well as the main film director for McDowall Studios, and on occasion runs cameras for production. She doesn't just work the motion pictures, though. She does a lot of the publicity works for McDowall Studios, and does a lot of photography for promoting the company.

Harper is well known for two films that she starred in, one being an original, scrappy film, Dancing, and then the 2023 masterpiece, Prongs. 

In Dancing, she starred as the main character on the road to greatness through dance. Unfortunately, this film never made it in the movie world and is archived away.

Prongs on the hand was very successful, and she made it big in the role of the messenger ghost.

Today, Harper works on a lot of show casts, as well as being the main actor and go-to backup for McDowall Studios.

Lucas Gordon has had an interesting step into McDowall Studios. Lucas was not a part of the team since the beginning, like many other members. In fact, he only joined the McDowall Studios team in September, 2024. Lucas and Kody McDowall met working on live AV projects, and became good friends. Just before MS HQ 1, Lucas joined the intern team. He was a huge factor of MS HQ 1, as he helped from start to finish on the entire project.

Thus far Lucas has not been part of any productions, but is incredibly skilled in AV aspects, especially in the video department. He plans to help develop the company in the next couple of years, and to jump in to any opportunities for production that he can.

Sam Easterling has been with McDowall Studios since it was founded in 2018. He has been a crucial part of the company. He is a very skilled actor and stuntman, and has the played the main role in multiple McDowall Studios productions.

Sam is best known for playing the role of Jackson in the 2023 feature film Prongs, as well as Colorado #1 Rated experimental trailer, Bikers. 

Sam is also the lead stuntman and stunt coordinator for McDowall Studios, coming up with, making believable and safe, and choreographing some awesome, death defying stunts and fights.

Sam insures that films and videos produced by the company are exciting and action filled, as well as made very funny by his sense of humor.

Joshua Bausch has been working with McDowall Studios about as long as his brother, Jonathan has, but has not been involved in quite as much as Jonathan.

Joshua joined the team in the beginning and starred in a few of the original, archived films produced by MS. From there, he began to take part in some live production but does not do a whole lot on production crews at the moment.

He says he hopes to be on more productions for McDowall Studios in the near future and to get back into the loop of production on the McDowall Studios team.

Joshua is best known for starring in early films produced by McDowall Studios, as well as being the main on-camera stand up comedian and executive stunt coordinator.
